public servant in the Department of Indian Affairs and was responsible for the enforcement of Canada's harsh laws and the separation

from their families. His poems lamenting the death of First Nations culture
pose an interesting
contrast to this role as a prime agent of that extinction. This is a handsome
little book with black
and white illustrations by Howard on every page. Bound in dark green decorated card with original
ties intact and is SIGNED by Scott on the first blank preliminary.This is a non-circulating ex-library copy although there
